Commitment to Quality
Commitment to Quality is a principle that transcends the test of time. Olea Inc. was founded in 1975 by Chairman Fernando Olea and his sons Rene and Mark Olea, in their Cerritos California home. The company was inspired by a simple and unified goal; to deliver quality products with customer satisfaction in mind.
Growth and Innovation
As a master carpenter, Fernando taught Rene and Mark from early on, the skills that would later prove to be the foundation to Olea’s success. Inspired by the demand of their growing list of clients, from 1977 to 1986, Olea extended its branches across a number of industries. During this period, Olea created a full scale educational children’s exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Los Angeles and in 1983 the first kiosk in company history for the Los Angeles County Fair. With an earnest passion for their craft, the three gave life to their customers’ ideas by designing, engineering, and producing; furniture, cabinetry, display exhibits, commissioned works of art and of course, kiosks.
Continuing a Legacy of Excellence
1998 Rene Olea’s son, Frank Olea became the main product developer for the growing Olea kiosk division. Frank has since become a controlling partner and is acting CEO. From humble beginnings in a Southern California home to our current 48,000 sq. ft. campus, Olea continues to be driven by an innovative spirit with old-fashioned commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and service. Today, 30 years after producing our first kiosk, Olea is the industry leading designer and manufacturer of custom kiosks inspired by Frank’s mantra: “better kiosks through intelligent design.”
